Parts finder for DIYers, the trades and the plant floor

Fetch the right part. Close to home.

Snap a photo, scan it or pick it from a list. Partriever works out what the part is and who has it near you, starting with local supply houses, then the big stores, then online.

How it works

Three steps from broken to fixed

Tell it what you need

Pick the part from a guided list (size, thread, amps, material), scan the barcode on the box, type the number stamped on it, or just snap a photo and let AI read the part for you.

See who has it near you

Local supply houses come first, because they stock the odd sizes and know their stuff. Then Lowe's, Home Depot, AutoZone and the rest, then online sellers if nobody nearby has it.

Call, click or drive

Every store opens its own stock search for your branch. Partriever also writes a 30-second call script so you can ask about stock and price and have them hold it at the counter.

Partriever only keeps what it needs to save your parts list, and only you can see it.

  • Private by defaultSaved parts, recent searches and settings sit in a private space only you can read, not even the app's owner.
  • Photos aren't keptBarcode scans happen on your phone. Only if there's no barcode does the photo go to Google's image matching, or to Claude if you turn it on, and it's never stored.

Questions

Straight answers

Is Partriever free?

Yes. Searching, saving parts and call scripts are free. Some store links may earn Partriever a small commission when you buy, which keeps the app free.

Does it show live stock?

Stores don't share live inventory with outside apps. Partriever opens each store's own search, which shows stock at your branch once you pick your store, and gives you a call script for local shops.

Do you sell parts?

No. Partriever points you to stores. You buy directly from them.

Will it work for pros?

Yes. It covers supply houses, not just big-box stores, and the guided picker uses trade terms like breaker type, thread size and connection type. Industrial automation is covered too: PLCs, drives, sensors and motor control from Allen-Bradley, Siemens, AutomationDirect, Bosch Rexroth and more.

Where does it work?

Anywhere in the US. Enter a ZIP or city and a search radius, and local results come from map search around that spot.
